In September, John, Lilly and I flew up to Madison, WI with Grandma, Aunt Marion and Uncle Dave and Baby Shane. It was a quick trip, but we got to fit in a lot of sightseeing and experience the gorgeous weather! Here we are at the Dells-- absolutely beautiful place. I went as a child, so it was interesting to see it through grown up eyes. Lilly loved all the new sights and the hustle and bustle of travel, as usual. We love it!!

On the boat tour through the Dells.

Walking through the Dells with Daddy and Grandma.

Taking it easy between stops. I wish I could be this comfortable!

We found LNB initials carved in the wall (if you can make them out).

Mommy and Lilly exploring a cave.

Lilly and Shane-y playing.

Enjoying a day at a county park in Madison. We stayed outside all day and didn't break a sweat- we were really thankful for the beautiful fall weather.

Daddy and Lilly feeding the ducks on Lake Mendota. You can see Univ. of Wisconsin- Madision across the way.

Feeding the ducks!

A morning at the Madison Zoo...and what a zoo it was. Tons of animals and free to the public! As you'll see, we got up close views of all the animals.

Saying hi to the giraffe.

Lilly says: "that's enough." Guess he got too close. :)

I don't get it, she's afraid of the giraffe, but not this guy? WHOA!
