6 years!

Watching the sunset on Clearwater Beach and saying good night to the little one before a romantic anniversary dinner at the Island Way Grill. Yum!
Sunsets on the Gulf are always gorgeous! This is one great reason to love Florida.

Fun pics!

FINALLY, we're getting enough hair to do this!!

Tea party with the princess and Piglet! What a cultured little girl we have. :)

Sleepy time

Laying her babies down to sleep like they do at daycare. So sweet!

Madison, Wisconsin

In September, John, Lilly and I flew up to Madison, WI with Grandma, Aunt Marion and Uncle Dave and Baby Shane. It was a quick trip, but we got to fit in a lot of sightseeing and experience the gorgeous weather! Here we are at the Dells-- absolutely beautiful place. I went as a child, so it was interesting to see it through grown up eyes. Lilly loved all the new sights and the hustle and bustle of travel, as usual. We love it!!
On the boat tour through the Dells.

Walking through the Dells with Daddy and Grandma.

Taking it easy between stops. I wish I could be this comfortable!

We found LNB initials carved in the wall (if you can make them out).

Mommy and Lilly exploring a cave.

Lilly and Shane-y playing.

Enjoying a day at a county park in Madison. We stayed outside all day and didn't break a sweat- we were really thankful for the beautiful fall weather.

Daddy and Lilly feeding the ducks on Lake Mendota. You can see Univ. of Wisconsin- Madision across the way.

Feeding the ducks!

A morning at the Madison Zoo...and what a zoo it was. Tons of animals and free to the public! As you'll see, we got up close views of all the animals.

Saying hi to the giraffe.

Lilly says: "that's enough." Guess he got too close. :)

I don't get it, she's afraid of the giraffe, but not this guy? WHOA!

Flying with Grandpa

We took Lilliana up in Grandpa's plane! What an adventure. As always she was cool under pressure. At first, had an "I don't know about this" look but quickly eased into it. We were up for a half hour and then landed at Flying Tiger airport north of Gainesville for an excellent buffett breakfast to benefit the fly-in community. After we watched the planes come and go and headed back to Grandpa's house in Jacksonville. Lilly was so comfortable she started falling asleep. Mommy had to keep her awake so she wouldn't miss her real nap (and so mommy could get a nap in later too). It was a blast- Grandpa's a great pilot!!!

Above the clouds!

Watching the planes take off with Grandpa.

Daddy buckling Lilly in so she's safe and sound.

Flying Tiger Airport has a great breakfast!

Lilly realizing that we're flying- she started mimicing an airplane with her arms. Wish I could have gotten this one on film.
This headset is pretty cool!

My always observant girl! Love her!

Lilly takes Manhattan...and upstate NY.

We had a wonderful time in upstate New York with Grammy and Pop pop. Lilly also got to meet several relatives and friends she hadn't met before like Janet and Charlie, Auntie, Maria, Melissa and Bess!
It was a whirlwind, especially once we got to New York City! Lilly loved taking in the sights and sounds... even telling the bus driver in Manhattan to "go!" at every stoplight. She's really a great traveler-- and of course that makes mommy and daddy very happy. Working hard on Pop pop's crossword puzzle!

Saying "hi" to the choo choo that drove right behind the house we were staying in.

Getting ice cream at the caboose!

Gotta love the upper Hudson River!

Taking a walk at Lake George.

Playing doctor at Auntie's house!

Auntie teaching Lilly how to vacuum. Now she won't put down the Swiffer at home! :)

Taking the ferry to NYC!

Central Park with Melissa

Balloons and a huge park- Lilly was in heaven.

It doesn't get more NYC than a carriage ride in Central Park.

More pictures with Ara and Elijah!

We are lucky enough to have found this great photographer who took us to Kraft Gardens in Winter park. I didn't even know it existed. Here are some more fun shots with the cousins!
